VERA is the flour for Neapolitan pizza approved by the AVPN – Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana-, the association that spreads and protects the authentic and historical way of making Neapolitan pizza.
Vera was developed by Bongiovanni in collaboration with the best Neapolitan pizza masters, custodians of an ancient art recognised as a world heritage by UNESCO, and is created to obtain smooth and homogeneous doughs that are easy to roll out with the "Neapolitan style". It has an exceptional cooking resistance: it quickly cooks turning into a light and digestible product, guaranteeing the traditional development of the cornicione.
