Philippe WAGNER PGI Morteau sausage is made with the finest ingredients. Produced in our region, certified PGI, our regional recipe without nitrite and its slow natural smoking, using resinous wood, gives it its typical colour. It is embossed by hand and made from the best whey-fed pig meat, mainly from Haute-Saône.
When cut, it has a thick grain and a soft, juicy, bound texture. The absence of added nitrite explains its slightly pink, pale grey colour: a natural colour of cooked meat. In the mouth, rediscover the delicate and fragrant taste of a Morteau sausage prepared with all the know-how of a traditional butcher.
The Morteau sausage will easily enhance your stews, sauerkrauts, small salads, cheese and potato plates, soups and salads.
